An evening of elegance with a purpose is coming to Muscatine this fall as Muscatine County Area Habitat for Humanity hosts its first Masquerade Ball & Fund-the-Need Auction.
The event is set for Sat., Oct. 24, 2026 at 5 pm in the 6th Floor Ballroom at The Merrill Hotel in Muscatine. The evening will feature dinner, entertainment and a live auction benefiting local Habitat homes and families working toward the stability and security of homeownership.
Guests can dress to impress for the elegant masquerade-themed evening, with black-tie attire and masquerade masks encouraged.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. with doors opening and a cocktail reception, followed by a plated dinner at 6 p.m. The live Fund-the-Need Auction begins at 7 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will support Muscatine County Area Habitat for Humanity and its efforts to help local families build brighter futures through access to safe, stable and affordable homeownership.
Tickets are $90 per person and include admission to the event and plated dinner. The event offers an opportunity to attend with friends, family or colleagues while supporting Habitat’s work in the Muscatine community.
Businesses and community members can also support the event through sponsorship opportunities or by donating items, experiences and gift baskets for the auction.
Organizers are encouraging guests to mark their calendars, put on their masks and join them for the inaugural celebration.
