Sampson Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic between Stewart Road and Kansas Street Nov. 2-6, weather permitting, while Hometown Mechanical completes a sewer abandonment project.
Motorists should follow posted detours, with commercial trucks directed west on Stewart Road to Dick Drake Way and north to Grandview Avenue. Passenger vehicles should use Wallace Street to Wisconsin Street before returning to Sampson Street. Drivers are encouraged to slow down and use caution near the work zone.
