Drivers heading into downtown Muscatine this weekend should plan for several street closures as crews prepare the area for FestivALL Muscatine on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The largest closure will affect West 2nd Street from Chestnut Street to Pine Street, which will close at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, and remain closed through 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20. Additional closures include Chestnut Street from West 2nd Street to West 3rd Street and No. 2 Alley at Chestnut Street.
The closures will create a pedestrian-focused area for the festival, and drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution near the downtown festival footprint.

FestivALL, hosted by Crossroads, Inc., will run from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday on Second Street. The event will feature live rock-and-roll tribute bands, family activities, food trucks, vendors, a beer garden, a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the event will support Crossroads programs serving seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Admission to FestivALL is free and open to the public.
