Flipped Out Furniture is moving forward without a storefront after being forced to close its downtown Muscatine location following the East Second Street building collapse.
In a social media update, the business announced it has caught up on its custom furniture orders and recently completed several new pieces that are now available for purchase.
Although the storefront remains closed, Flipped Out Furniture will continue selling furniture and home décor through its Facebook page by posting photos and videos of available items. Customers can arrange delivery or pick up purchases at the company’s farm near Nichols, Iowa.
The business also announced that a new website featuring its candles, soaps, and body products is nearly complete. The site will offer both local pickup and shipping options when it launches.
Owners thanked customers for their continued support, saying the community’s custom furniture orders have kept them busy during the transition. They also encouraged anyone with furniture in need of refinishing or restoration to reach out about future projects.
