Drivers in Muscatine should prepare for a temporary road closure as part of a construction project later this week. City officials say Oak Street will be closed to traffic for one day between April 24 and April 30 near the 200 block. The exact date will depend on weather conditions.
The closure will allow the installation of a 30-ton rooftop HVAC unit at the HON headquarters building.
Motorists are advised to watch for posted traffic control signs and plan alternate routes during the closure.
