The Muscatine Police Department has made an arrest following a burglary at Mulberry Elementary School early Sunday morning.
Police say 48-year-old Lucas John Haskins of Muscatine was arrested Monday, Sept. 21, at approximately 1:35 p.m. Haskins was charged with third-degree burglary, with additional charges pending.
Police had asked for the public’s help identifying an individual who unlawfully entered the school between approximately 4 and 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20.
As with all criminal charges, Haskins is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
