Muscatine Boat Harbor Slip Rentals Available as Dredging Nears Completion

Dredging operations at the Muscatine Municipal Boat Harbor and Marina are wrapping up, with the harbor now open and ready for boaters. The facility is operated by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department.

Seasonal slip rentals remain available for the 2026 boating season. The marina offers 82 non-covered slips, including 18 for houseboats and 64 for pleasure and speed boats. Each slip includes wssippi River without the need to launch and retrieve their boats each trip.

The harbor’s gas dock is also operating for the season. Located just upriver from the marina, the dock offers gasoline, diesel fuel, and pump-out service.

Weekday fuel service is available by appointment beginning at 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Boaters should call the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department at (563) 263-0241 during normal business hours to schedule an appointment.

The gas dock is also open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays during the boating season, as well as on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
