About Kevin Walker

Kevin Walker brings over three decades of radio experience to the airwaves, having worked across multiple markets since beginning his broadcasting career in 1991. A proud Iowa native, Kevin has built his extensive radio career in markets including the Quad Cities, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, North Carolina, and previously in Muscatine as the creator of 93.1 the Buzz, before settling into his current role.

You can catch Kevin weekday afternoons from 3-7pm on MC 93,  featuring the pop and rock classics that defined the iconic decades of the 1980's, 90's and early 2000's. His afternoon drive show provides the perfect soundtrack for your commute home.

Beyond his music hosting duties, Kevin has spent the past three years as a key voice in University of Iowa athletics coverage for Voice of Muscatine. His comprehensive Hawkeye sports coverage includes men's and women's basketball as well as football. Kevin provides in-depth pre and post-game shows, conducts player and coach interviews, creates feature stories and player profiles, delivers game recaps and analysis, and offers sideline reporting that brings listeners closer to the action.

As an Iowa native covering his home state's beloved Hawkeyes, Kevin brings both professional expertise and genuine passion to his sports broadcasting. His decades of experience across multiple radio markets have given him the skills to connect with audiences whether he's spinning your favorite throwback hits or breaking down the latest Hawkeye game.

When he's not on the air or covering sports, Kevin is a proud dad to two daughters and shares his home with Kinnick, the family's appropriately-named Hawkeye dog.
