Get ready to ride! The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Melon City Bike Club, is thrilled to welcome families to the Melon City Bike Rodeo on Thursday, June 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Muscatine Soccer Complex.

This free, family-friendly event is designed especially for children ages 4 to 12, but all ages are welcome to attend. No registration is required—just bring your bike and helmet and come ready for fun!

Young riders can test their skills on a bicycle obstacle course, learn important tips during safe riding demonstrations, and visit a bike safety check station to ensure their gear is ready for summer rides. A limited number of free bike helmets will also be available for participants, while supplies last.

Now in its second year, the Melon City Bike Rodeo is a great way to kick off the summer season with active fun, valuable safety education, and a celebration of cycling in our community.
