As families prepare for a new school year, the Fifth Annual Back-to-School Health Clinic, offers a convenient, one-stop opportunity to check important health screenings off the list.
Families in Muscatine and surrounding areas are invited to attend the clinic, hosted by Trinity Muscatine Public Health, on Thursday, August 6, from noon to 6:30 p.m. at McKinley Elementary School in Muscatine, Iowa.
Hosted in partnership with local health and community organizations, this free clinic offers a wide variety of essential services to help children start the school year healthy and ready to learn. Available services include:
– Dental Screenings
– Topical Fluoride Application
– Vision Screenings
– Lead Testing
– Developmental Screenings (ages 0 to 5)
In addition, staff will be on-site to answer questions about immunizations, insurance and other resource needs. Several community partners will also be present, offering information about local programming and support services.
