Step into Summer with the Annual Ice Cream Social! Enjoy live music with the Muscatine Civic Chorale kicking off the event with Patriotic Songs. At 1:45 p.m., the Burlington Street Bluegrass Band will make their debut at the Art Center. Join Chris Foss and the Third Floor Jammers at 3:15 PM.
Meet artists James Walker Henry and Rich Ankeney in the Musser McColm Mansion and view their art. New this year Steve’s Petting Zoo in the Cedar Street Parking lot. Purchase some ice cream and pie to support Friends of the Muscatine Art Center, play some games with the family, let the kids get creative in the studio, take in all of the exhibitions, and watch local artist Joe Barnard draw portraits from life.
