Caitlin Clark missed Saturday’s 111-87 Indiana Fever win over the Los Angeles Sparks with a back injury. It’s the second game Clark has missed this year after missing most of last season with leg injuries.
As the two-time WNBA All-Star continues to recover from her back injury, the Fever have a perfectly-timed extended break. Indiana does not play again until Sunday, July 5. Indiana will take on the Las Vegas Aces on July 5 for the first of two meetings between the two teams during the Fever’s upcoming four-game road trip.
Given the long break before it, it’s a good opportunity for Clark to make her return. However, given the day-to-day nature of Clark’s back injury, there is no guarantee on exactly when Clark may return.
Here’s the Fever’s upcoming stretch of games as July arrives:
Sunday, July 5: at Las Vegas Aces (6 p.m. CT on ESPN)
Wednesday, July 8: at Los Angeles Sparks (9 p.m. CT on USA Network)
Thursday, July 9: at Phoenix Mercury (9 p.m. CT on Amazon Prime Video)
Sunday, July 12: at Las Vegas Aces (8 p.m. CT on NBC)
Wednesday, July 15: vs. Golden State Valkyries (7 p.m. CT on USA Network)
