Iowa Hawkeye grad and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark will serve as the celebrity guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday, the network announced. Clark will make her predictions ahead of the Hawkeyes’ game vs. Ohio State.
Clark and the Fever just completed their 2026 season, falling to the Las Vegas Aces in the first round of the WNBA playoffs. Indiana finished the regular season 28-16 to finish second in the Eastern Conference standings. Clark averaged 20.0 points for the Fever this year, which put her second on the roster behind Kelsey Mitchell. She also had a team-high 9.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per game during her third season in the league.
“Obviously, probably [let this] hurt a little bit,” Clark said, via ESPN’s Kareem Copeland. “This is really only my fifth game playing in the postseason, so you kind of take the burn a little bit but also [remember] how much fun this season was and how together our group was and just getting to replicate that going forward.”
Caitlin Clark will now get ready to join the ESPN College GameDay crew ahead of a highly anticipated matchup between Iowa and Ohio State. The Hawkeyes are coming off a victory over Michigan, which came at the literal last second as Hank Brown found Reece Vander Zee at zeroes for the walk-off touchdown.
