MUSCATINE, Iowa — A suspect has been arrested following a stabbing reported Monday evening in the 200 block of Walnut Street, according to the Muscatine Police Department.
Kaleb Allen Sosa, 19, was arrested and charged with willful injury, a Class D felony. 
Officers responded at approximately 7:35 p.m. Monday after receiving a 911 call reporting a stabbing in the area. The initial investigation determined that a verbal confrontation between two adult males escalated, resulting in one individual being stabbed.
The victim, Jason Cannon, 37, is expected to make a full recovery.
Sosa is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
