The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is offering a limited supply of firewood to residents as crews continue trimming trees throughout the city’s park system.
To ensure fair distribution, the department has established a Woodcutter’s Call List for residents who live within Muscatine city limits. Firewood will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to individuals on the list.
Residents who want to be added to the call list can contact the Parks and Recreation Park Maintenance Office at 563-263-5464. If no one is available, callers are asked to leave their name, address and phone number. When firewood is ready for pickup, staff will notify residents with details about the time and location.
