Families are invited to get up close and explore some of the biggest and most exciting vehicles around at The Iowa Children’s Museum’s largest outdoor event of the year. The event, hosted in partnership with the City of Coralville, takes place Sunday, October 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Coral Ridge Mall parking lot.
Kids (and kids at heart) can climb aboard construction equipment, big trucks, and emergency vehicles while learning about the important roles they play in the community. The day will also feature fun games, hands-on activities, and plenty of photo opportunities for the whole family.
Outdoor activities are free of charge, thanks to sponsors Coral Ridge Mall, City of Coralville, and GreenState Credit Union. Visitors can also purchase tickets to enjoy the museum’s interactive indoor exhibits for even more creative playtime.
Bring your curiosity, your camera, and your sense of adventure — it’s going to be a day full of discovery and fun for all ages.
