Muscatine residents looking to get more involved in the community will soon have a new way to connect. On Wednesday, October 1, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Contrary Brewing and The Creek: An Ardon Creek Lounge in downtown Muscatine will host the next event in the local Muscatine Women’s Leadership Series lineup.
The evening is designed to give attendees the chance to learn about more than 10 area nonprofit organizations, explore volunteer opportunities, and sign up to support causes that matter to them.

In addition to connecting with nonprofits, the event will also kick off the creation of the BR.ID.GE. Mentor Network, offering opportunities for community members to join as either mentors or mentees.
The event will feature live music, food, and a cash bar at both venues, creating a casual and engaging atmosphere for networking and community building.
There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are requested by September 24 to help with planning.
Organizers encourage everyone interested in giving back or growing through mentorship to mark their calendars and join in this evening of connection and impact.
