UnityPoint Health® – Trinity Muscatine Public Health will celebrate National Public Health Week by opening its doors to the community for an open house showcasing the services that help keep residents in Muscatine County and surrounding counties healthy.
The open house will take place Tuesday, April 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Trinity Muscatine Public Health, 1609 Cedar Street, Muscatine, IA 52761.
This event will help the community learn how public health works every day to prevent illness, support families and strengthen the well-being of the entire community.
Guests can meet the public health team and learn about key services shaping community health, including:
• Child and Adolescent Health: Lead and developmental screenings, preventative oral health services
• Immunization Services: Routine vaccinations, education on vaccine preventable diseases
• Maternal Health: Prenatal and postpartum screening, support for healthy pregnancies and newborns
• Access and Support Programs: Care coordination and resource navigation
“Our work is about meeting people where they are,” says Jen Craft, Trinity Muscatine Public Health Director. “Public health isn’t just responding when something goes wrong – it’s about education, prevention and early support. During the open house, we hope residents see firsthand how these services strengthen families. Our goal is to be a trusted, accessible source of support for every resident of Muscatine County.”
