Raise A Glass For A Great Cause: Habitat For Humanity Fundraiser At Contrary Brewing

SHARE NOW

Muscatine County Area Habitat for Humanity is teaming up with Contrary Brewing for a fun-filled evening of great beer, delicious food, and community spirit — all to support affordable housing in Muscatine County!
During Hammers ‘n’ Ales, from 4-9 pm, Contrary Brewing, 411 W. Mississippi Drive, will donate $1 per pour to support local Habitat projects. Bring your friends, bid on exciting silent auction items, and learn how you can make a difference.
Habitat board and committee members will be there to answer questions about the organization’s mission and work — including the upcoming 2025 build at 1246 E. 5th St.

Hammers ‘n’ Ales silent auction highlights include:
A two-night stay in a river-view room at The Merrill Hotel
Two one-day passes (each good for two people) to the John Deere Classic
A generous meat bundle from West Liberty Locker and Processing

Don Lampe, Muscatine County Habitat president and executive director, encourages the community to join the fun. “Come enjoy a refreshment with us and help a good cause. Your contribution gives a family a hand-up to a more stable life.”
Whether you come to Hammers ‘n’ Ales for the beer, the auction, or just good company — every sip helps build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Don’t miss it!
