The Muscatine Department of Public Works (DPW) is advising residents of two temporary street closures on East 11th Street as Muscatine Power and Water (MPW) replaces utility poles.
Thursday, July 9
- East 11th Street will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to noon between Oak Street and Orange Street.
- The closure is needed to replace a utility pole at 609 E. 11th Street.
Tuesday, July 14
- East 11th Street will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. between 713 E. 11th Street and 801 E. 11th Street.
- The closure includes the East 11th Street and Spring Street intersection while crews replace a utility pole at 717 E. 11th Street.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during both closures. All work is weather permitting.
