UnityPoint Health is hosting a free community event to help people learn more about surgical weight loss options.
The “Bariatric Program Informational Event” will be held Thursday, Jan. 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Jardine Auditorium at UnityPoint Health – Rock Island. Learn about the bariatric procedures offered at UnityPoint Health, hear from experts and get answers to your questions in
a supportive, informative setting. This free discussion will be led by the expert team at Trinity Weight Management Specialists.

Attendees can also sample various protein shakes, have their weight measurements taken on a bariatric scale and get information regarding insurance requirements, physical therapy and nutrition.
