The Muscatine Police Department is warning families about a fraudulent youth baseball program calling itself the Muscatine Vipers.
The team was advertised as having 8U and 11U league teams, but when the fall season started, parents discovered the Vipers were never officially registered. Several families had already paid team dues for their children to play in the Quad City Bronco Fall Ball League (Aug. 30–Oct. 11), only to find the players weren’t eligible because the organizer never completed payment to the league.

The Muscatine Police Department is actively investigating and wants to hear from anyone who may have been affected. If you paid money to participate in this program or have information about the case, please contact Detective Nicole Sink with the MPD Major Crimes Unit at 563-263-9922, ext. 612.
