SHARE NOW

The City of Muscatine is providing an update on ongoing phone service issues affecting Muscatine City Hall and Public Works.

After more than a week of intermittent disruptions, technicians have identified and addressed a significant portion of the problem. Incoming calls to City Hall and Public Works are now working properly, with two-way communication restored. Callers can hear staff, and staff can hear callers.

However, another issue was discovered during the repair process. City Hall and Public Works staff are currently unable to make outgoing phone calls, although they can answer incoming calls.

Multiple agencies and technical teams continue working to resolve the remaining issue and restore full phone service as quickly as possible.

The city appreciates the patience and understanding of residents and customers while repairs continue. Residents can still reach City Hall and Public Works using their regular phone numbers.
