On Sunday, one of the Big Ten’s first and second place teams will face off in a matchup that’ll be key in shaping the top of the standings: Iowa vs. Ohio State.

No. 10 Iowa is tied for first place with No. 3 UCLA at 8-0 in conference play. The Hawkeyes are coming hot off of last night’s big overtime victory over No. 15 Maryland, where sophomore studs Ava Heiden and Chit-Chat Wright combined for 38 points, including all 12 in the OT period.

At 7-1, No. 12 Ohio State sits in second spot with No. 7 Michigan. The Buckeyes have two wins already this week, including one over No. 9 TCU at the Coretta Scott King Classic. OSU trailed for the entire first half before coming back to claim its second top-10 victory of the season, 71-69.

When these two square off, the Hawkeyes will have an edge on the boards with a 10.2 rebounding margin – courtesy of Heiden and Hannah Stuelke – compared to OSU’s -2.2. But the Buckeyes will counter with a high-octane offense producing 78.3 ppg and a 14.6 scoring margin.
