Heiden led Iowa to its first ranked victory of the season against Baylor last Thursday. The Sherwood, Oregon native, logged her third double-double of the season with a team-high 18 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists.
Against the Hurricanes, Heiden was one point short of her career-high, she led the Hawkeyes with 20 points and six rebounds to clinch the WBCA Showcase Championship. She started Saturday’s game 9-of-9 from the floor through three quarters of action.
Heiden leads the team in scoring (15.8 ppg), rebounding (8.8 rpg), and field goal percentage (63) which ranks 21st nationally.
