The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Musco Sports Center, has introduced a new weekly drop-in program designed especially for young children and their families.

Beginning now, “Tot Time” will be held every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Musco Sports Center, unless otherwise noted due to special events. The flexible, two-hour window allows families to attend at their convenience — whether for 20 minutes, an hour, or the entire session.

“This program really gives families flexibility in their mornings,” said Nick Gow, Assistant Director of Muscatine Parks and Recreation. “You can come for a short visit or stay the whole time. It’s a great opportunity to get out, be active, and have fun.”

The cost is $1 per person, including both youth and parents. Participants will have access to the indoor turf field along with a variety of sporting equipment, providing a safe and active environment for children to play and explore.

The Musco Sports Center is a 122,000-square-foot, temperature-controlled, multi-use indoor facility featuring a synthetic turf field, permanent restrooms, and on-site concessions. The facility can accommodate football, soccer, softball, baseball, pickleball, as well as group gatherings and special events.
