Families are invited to ring in the new year a little early with a fun-filled Noon Year’s Eve celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 31, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Muscatine Art Center, 1314 Mulberry Ave.
Designed especially for families with young children, the event offers all the excitement of New Year’s Eve—without the late-night bedtime. Activities begin at 10:30 a.m. and include making party hats and noise makers, sharing New Year’s resolutions and dancing together as the countdown to noon begins.

At the stroke of 12 p.m., the celebration reaches its highlight with a festive balloon drop that fills the space with color, cheers and excitement.
The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. Organizers extend a special thank-you to Hy-Vee, Inc. for its support of this family-friendly community celebration.
