One of the area’s favorite holiday light displays is back. iLLUMINATE by Crossroads will once again transform historic Weed Park into a glowing wonderland this holiday season, continuing a beloved Muscatine Christmas tradition that combines festive fun with community giving.
Since its debut, the drive-through holiday light show has welcomed more than 10,000 cars and raised over $135,000 to support seniors and people with disabilities across the Muscatine area.
Families, friends, and visitors are invited to experience the magic nightly from Thanksgiving through December 28. As guests drive through the park’s twinkling displays, every visit helps fund essential local services through Crossroads and Senior Resources of Muscatine.
“This event has grown into something truly special for Muscatine,” said Megan Francis, Event Chair. “Every car that passes through iLLUMINATE helps fund essential programs like Meals on Wheels, day services, and Supported Community Living. It’s a perfect example of how our community comes together to support inclusion, care, and connection.”
As the largest annual fundraiser for Crossroads and Senior Resources, iLLUMINATE plays a vital role in sustaining programs that serve more than 600 individuals across eight service lines. Funds raised help bridge the gap between the true cost of care and Medicaid reimbursement—ensuring that seniors and people with disabilities continue to receive the quality services.
This year’s spectacular display is made possible thanks to generous community sponsors including KENT, MPW, Hy-Vee, UnityPoint, MUSCO, HNI, Ed Morse GMC, Rosy and John Eichelberger, and the Howe Foundation. 100% of event donations go directly to Crossroads and Senior Resources programs.
