A family-friendly winter tradition returns to Downtown Davenport Jan. 16–18 with Icestravaganza, a free outdoor celebration at the Freight House, 421 W. River Drive.
Presented by Luxtown.com, this year’s Icestravaganza features the theme “This Is Iowa,” transforming the Freight House boardwalk into a walkable ice festival highlighting Iowa pride, creativity and community. Visitors can explore a trail of ice sculptures, watch live carving demonstrations and enjoy the Outdoor Activity Zone, which includes interactive games and activities inspired by Iowa favorites.

Guests can warm up throughout the weekend with complimentary hot cocoa provided by The Family Credit Union. The weekend’s signature event is the After Glow Party, sponsored by T-Fiber, a family-friendly glow party featuring illuminated ice sculptures by renowned artist Rob Storm and live music from DJ Buddha.
Food and drink options will be available throughout the weekend from Farmers Market vendors, Front Street Brewery & Taproom and Antonella’s Pizzeria II.
Those planning an overnight stay can find a special Icestravaganza rate at The Current Iowa hotel.
