Summer fun returns to the Muscatine riverfront this week as Almost Friday Fest® kicks off its 2026 season Thursday at Riverside Park.
The free, family-friendly event runs from 5-8 p.m. May 28 and features live music, local food vendors, and a beer and wine tent along the Mississippi River.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of entertainment and community gathering on the waterfront.
Drivers should note that the small parking lot near the playground at the downriver end of Riverside Park will close beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday to allow for event setup.
