The public is invited to the Friends of Musser Public Library’s annual meeting from 12:00-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, in Room 301 of the Musser Public Library and HNI Community Center, 408 E. 2nd St.

This nonprofit organization is separate from the Musser Public Library and is composed of library enthusiasts who conduct fundraisers and awareness-raising events for the purpose of promoting library programming and supporting other needs of the institution such as physical assets.

At the meeting, the Friends will:

  • Explain the organization’s basic functions;
  • Review and vote on the organization’s bylaws;
  • Review the organization’s events and accomplishments during its 2024-25 fiscal year;
  • Accept nominations for and vote on members of the Friends of Musser Public Library committee, its basic governing board; and,
  • Allow time for questions after the business portion of the meeting.

Please come if you have an interest in what the Friends do, and especially if you are interested in contributing in any way to the organization. We need a few more committee members! Bottled water will be available for those in attendance.

Chartered in 1975, the Friends of Musser Public Library is a 501c3 non-profit organization with a volunteer board consisting of book lovers and library supporters. We support the goals and programs of the Musser Public Library by providing needed funding and services. Friends’ membership is open to everyone.
