About Tim Scott

KWPC’s Tim Scott is truly a renaissance man.

Tim's love of radio started when he was just 13 in 1973, he would ride his bicycle out to the radio station and ask to set in with Ron Edwin and Steve bridges.

In 1975, Tim officially started his career in radio broadcasting at KWPC-KFMH, he is proud to say that he has worked for every radio station owner KWPC has ever had from the very first owner George Volger to the current owners of Krieger Media Company.

As the years went by Tim's radio career turned more towards the engineering department.

Tim's home base is Muscatine, where he works at KWPC and MC 93.

Throughout the years, Tim has rebuilt and rewired the entire Muscatine property, including studio and transmitters, Tim also does contract engineering work with several other radio groups in the Midwest.
