Are you new to Muscatine or looking to reconnect with the community? Look no further than the Live Muscatine Welcome Orientation. This friendly and informative event is designed to introduce you to the people, resources, and opportunities that make Muscatine a great place to live.

The orientation will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, in the Howe Conference Room at the Muscatine Community YMCA. Attendees will be treated to a light meal, fostering an atmosphere of warmth as they embark on their journey to become integral parts of the community. Free childcare will be available ensuring a welcoming and family-friendly environment for all attendees.

“Moving to a new city is more than just settling into a new house or routine,” Megan Francis, a member of the Live Muscatine committee, said. “It is about becoming part of the community, learning about local history, and finding the resources you need to thrive. With Live Muscatine, our goal is to equip newcomers with everything they need to feel at home in Muscatine.”

Attendees can expect an engaging presentation featuring insights into Muscatine’s history, practical advice on navigating local services, and opportunities to connect with fellow newcomers and community leaders. Whether you are looking for ways to get involved, seeking recommendations for local services, or simply hoping to meet new people, the Live Muscatine orientation is the perfect place to start.
