A quarter of a century ago, Dick Maeglin brought the idea of a Community Foundation home to Muscatine County, and under the initial direction of Jim Nepple, Elaine Terrill, and a founding Board of committed volunteers, the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine was established to serve as a catalyst for community-building.
The philanthropic organization will host its twenty-fifth anniversary celebration at the Merrill Hotel on Wednesday, March 5, beginning promptly at 5 p.m.
