The annual spring cleanup at Muscatine Greenwood Cemetery is in progress. Cemetery staff request that all grave decorations be removed by the end of the day on Saturday, March 15. Any decorations remaining after this date will be removed and discarded.
Grave decorations include, but are not limited to, wreaths, silk flowers, grave blankets, wooden crosses, toys, cobblestones, and potted plants. However, undecorated metal shepherd’s hooks, Remembrance Vigil Candles, and Solar Lights will not be removed.
New decorations may be placed at grave sites starting Tuesday, April 1, with a limit of two decorations per grave.
