Costumes, candy and a little Halloween magic are coming to Kent Stein Park as the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department prepares for its annual Halloween celebration on Saturday, October 24.
The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and will feature decorated vehicles, trick-or-treat stations and a spooky light display to help bring Halloween to life for children and families.
Decorated vehicles and trick-or-treat stations will line the north side of Oneida Avenue, with candy and goodies available beginning at 6 p.m. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and bring a trick-or-treat bag to collect their treats.
Parking will be available on the south side of Oneida Avenue at Kent Stein Park, with additional parking at the Muscatine Soccer Complex nearby.
Volunteers Needed for Halloween Celebration
The Parks and Recreation Department is also looking for volunteers to help make the evening a success. Community members and organizations can decorate their vehicles, provide candy and host a trick-or-treat station.
Those interested in participating can reserve a parking space by contacting the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department at 563-263-0241 or emailing [email protected].
