Janice Lee Hillman, 75, of Fruitland Iowa, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. Private burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church following the service from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. Memorials in Janice’s name may be to St. Croix Hospice. Janice Lee Hintermeister was born on August 26, 1951 in Muscatine Iowa to Marjorie and Clifford Hintermeister. Janice earned her nursing degree from Scott community college in 1977. She spent many years as a nurse caring for others at Lutheran Homes of Muscatine. She brought kindness, warmth and compassion to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Janice married Gerg Hillman on October 15, 1982 in Muscatine. Janice was a loving wife, mother and Nana who will be lovingly and deeply missed.

Those left to honor her memory are her husband of 44 years Greg Hillman, her daughter April (Cody), her son Aaron (Kirstin), her grandchildren Natalie (Jagger), Taygen, Cayden, Kellen, Kris, Kias, her brother Ed (Virginia), her sister Valerie, her cousins, friends and loved ones.
