Hawkeye fans in Muscatine and the surrounding area have a new home for every Iowa game. All Iowa Hawkeye sports can now be heard on MC 93, 93.1 FM. You no longer need to switch between stations to catch football or basketball. Find Iowa Football, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Basketball all in one place this season and beyond.
Iowa Hawkeye Football returns to MC 93 this fall, following last year’s coverage. For the first time, Iowa Men’s and Women’s Basketball will air on MC 93 as well. This change lets fans follow every play, every basket, and every touchdown on a single frequency.
General Manager Connor Kenney explained, “With the addition of the Hawkeyes’ in-state rivals, Iowa State, to our sister station, KWPC, it only made sense to move all Iowa Hawkeye sports to one station and one frequency. We want to make it easier for fans of both the Hawks and the Clones to find their favorite teams on their favorite hometown radio stations.”
If you follow Muskie athletics, you can still catch every Muskie game on KWPC, MC 93’s sister station.
Iowa opens the football season at Kinnick Stadium against Northern Illinois on Saturday, September 5th. The Hawkeyes will also host Iowa State on September 12th and UNI on September 19th to start the season.
