The History Channel’s hit series “American Pickers” is headed back to Iowa and Illinois this fall and is looking for private collections to feature in upcoming episodes.
The production team plans to film in both states throughout September 2026 and is seeking people with unique antiques, historic artifacts, and one-of-a-kind collections who are interested in sharing their stories — and possibly selling their items.
The documentary series follows antique pickers as they travel the country searching for rare and historically significant treasures hidden in barns, garages, basements, sheds, and other private collections. Along the way, the show highlights the stories behind the items and the people who have preserved them.
Producers say they are especially interested in discovering unusual finds, forgotten relics, and collections with compelling histories.
The show is not seeking stores, flea markets, antique malls, auction businesses, museums, or collections that are open to the public.
