A popular local eating establishment, is preparing to close its doors in Muscatine as the owners announced plans to relocate the business to Texas.

In a social media post shared this week, the restaurant staff said Saturday will mark its final night open in Muscatine. Owners described the decision as “bittersweet,” saying the move is aimed at creating “a fresh start and new opportunities.”

The restaurant thanked the Muscatine community for its support throughout its time in the city while also reflecting on challenges faced during its operation.

“We truly appreciate the love and support we’ve received here in Muscatine,” the post stated. “Growth is necessary, and we’re choosing that.”

Before the move, Krave Bar & Grill plans to remain open throughout the week with several food specials leading up to Saturday’s farewell celebration.

Scheduled specials include:

  • Friday: Catfish fillet with two sides for $10.99 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: “Everything on sale” from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

The restaurant encouraged customers to stop by one final time before the relocation.

“This isn’t goodbye … it’s see you later,” the post concluded.
