If you are new to Muscatine or looking to reconnect with the community the Live Muscatine Welcome Orientation offers residents an opportunity to meet new people and learn more about what makes Muscatine a great place to live, work and play.
The next orientation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Howe Conference Room at the Muscatine Community YMCA, 1823 Logan St. A light dinner will be provided, along with free childcare, making it a relaxed, family-friendly evening.
“Muscatine isn’t just a place to live — it’s a community where people grow their careers, build friendships and enjoy life,” said committee member Megan Francis. “Live Muscatine connects newcomers to the people, programs and resources that help them feel at home right away.”

Attendees will take part in an informative presentation and have opportunities to connect with other newcomers, hear from local leaders and learn practical tips for navigating community services. Topics range from Muscatine’s history to resources for families, helping participants leave informed and ready to get involved.
Registration is available at muscatine.com/live-muscatine or by calling 563-263-9996. For more information about Live Muscatine, contact Francis at megan.francis@unitypoint.
