Iowa Men Win Big To Stay Undefeated

Iowa led wire to wire behind an up tempo offense and pressure defense to beat Southeast Missouri State 99-70.  The Hawkeyes shot 28-for-46 from the floor, including 10-for-23 from 3-point territory and 25-for-35 from the free-throw line, with Alvaro Folgueiras leading the team with 16 points on 4-for-6 from the field, 3-for-5 from 3-point range, and 5-for-6 from the free-throw line. The sophomore Spaniard also recorded 5 rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes of action.

Defensively, the Hawkeyes forced 17 turnovers, including 11 steals and two blocks, converting those takeaways into 26 points in transition.
