Muscatine, IA — August 22, 2025 – CBI Bank & Trust, is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan L. Eversmeyer to its Board of Directors, effective August 21, 2025.
Eversmeyer, born and raised in Ottumwa, Iowa, earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with Distinction from the University of Iowa in 1995. She began her career as a Staff Accountant at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP (now RSM) before joining Central State Bank (now CBI Bank & Trust) in 1996 as an Internal Auditor. In that role, she was responsible for auditing all facets of the bank and reporting her findings to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
In 2004, Ms. Eversmeyer and her husband, Aaron, purchased River Rehabilitation Physical Therapy, where she continues to work today.
A committed community leader, Ms. Eversmeyer has been actively involved in Muscatine since moving to the area in 1996. She is a graduate of Leadership Muscatine and has served in leadership roles with numerous local organizations, including the Board of Directors for Special Olympics of Muscatine County, United Way of Muscatine, and Muscatine Power and Water’s Board of Water, Electric and Communications Trustees. She currently serves on the UnityPoint Trinity Muscatine Foundation Board, Trinity Friends Board, and the Lutheran Living Board.
