This March, the Muscatine Art Center invites you to celebrate Women’s History Month with a toast to some of the most profound ladies in art.
On March 9 form 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., visitors are encouraged to meet members of the Muscatine League of Women Voters and learn about the organization, its history, and how to get involved, as well as visit treasured pieces from the Muscatine Art Center’s permanent collection by famed artists, such as Georgia O’Keeffe and Elizabeth Catlett. Florals by Beth Van Hoesen and collages by Iowa City Artist Corinne Stanley who will visit with attendees during a reception will also be on display.
No registration is required to attend this event and admission is free of charge.
