During the final home game of the season, the Muscatine High School girls basketball team advanced to the Class 5A regional semifinals Wednesday night with a 56-34 home win over Davenport Central.
Macy Reno buried four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 14 points. Elsie Lewis and Ella Maynard each had 10 points for the Muskies, who advance to play state-ranked Davenport North on Saturday night in Davenport.
Muscatine jumped out to a 17-6 lead late in the first quarter and built the margin to 39-21 after three quarters. The Muskies made eight 3-point shots and had eight different players score in the game.
