A Muscatine man is being recognized by the governor’s office for his volunteer service.
Mike Hagerty is passionate about helping remove barriers to education for kids in our community. He helped to develop the “Kids First Fund to help students with financial needs that could interfere with their education. Hagerty serves on the boards of MCSA and St. Mary’s in addition to his work with the Kids First Fund.
As part of the recognition of his service, Hagerty is the featured volunteer on the governor’s volunteer awards site, volunteeriowa.org for this week.
