On the evening of Saturday, November 3rd, seventy-six Future Farmers of America (FFA) alumni, ranging from nineteen to eighty four years, old traveled back to Muscatine from around Iowa, Indiana, and Kentucky for a special event just for them.
First, the group enjoyed a delicious hot dinner of pulled pork sandwiches.
Afterwards, they played several rounds of trivia that tested their knowledge of Muscatine and National FFA facts. Later, they toured MHS to see its Ag Classrooms, greenhouse and shop. Finally, they rounded out the night by taking a trip down memory lane by browsing through many old MHS yearbooks and FFA scrapbooks, some dating all the way back to 1928! Throughout the reunion, many alumni shared good stories and enjoyed the time for fellowship on a chilly fall evening.
Through ticket sales, and donations, the alumni raised $750 for scholarships for current FFA members. The Muscatine FFA would like to thank everyone who sold tickets and helped prepare for the event for their generous support, as well as the continuing support of all FFA alumni.
