The Girl Scouts are known for building strong relationships and bonds between young women. They learn valuable leadership and teamwork skills as members of their troops. One of the ways in which these young women and girls grow is by attending summer camp. Last week, over fifty girls took part in Camp Sacajawea. The theme was “Camp Sacajawea’s got talent.” Girls listened to guest speakers and participated in water games, hiking, canoeing, and other group activities. They also prepared for a talent show.
The camp was held at Saulsbury State Park. High-school-aged girls helped the adult leadership put on the event.
