Take a trip down Candy Cane Lane this December with Wilton’s Christmas activities, sponsored by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce. Please consider joining us on this special night, Sunday, December 2, 2018, to celebrate the Holiday Season!
The festivities begin with the children’s rainbow wreath scavenger hunt. Pick up your bag with instructions at Community Bank!
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive as part of the Christmas parade and lighting of the community Christmas tree at 5:00 pm. The parade will start at the Wilton Post Office on Fourth Street, stop for Santa to illuminate the community Christmas tree, and will end after a ride around the block at the City Council Chambers, 106 E. 4th Street, where Santa will visit with the community’s children until 7:00 pm. Santa would love to see crowded streets for his grand entrance. After the parade, enjoy the snowman photo area in front of the City Council Chambers.
The gingerbread house themed window contest will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Businesses will compete for the titles of best window, judge’s choice, and most original window. The winners of these categories will receive a traveling trophy! The winner of best theme for a parade entry will also receive a gift certificate!
