Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 12 p.m. (noon) at Lutheran Living. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 until 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Lutheran Living. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or Lutheran Living. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Dolores was born on November 7, 1927, in Davenport, the daughter of Walter and Mabel Olson Hernandez. She married Harold L. ‘Ham’ Bieber on April 12, 1957, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1969.
She had worked for Muscatine Pearl Works, Webber Button Company, and Woolworths. Dolores was an antique collector, dealer, and appraiser. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Dolores traveled to Japan and Hong Kong in 1966 with her husband, was very active in the Republican Party, loved bird watching, flowers, cats, and most of all, her strong faith. She also enjoyed studying the Bible and being a prayer warrior.
She will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one sister, Anna Wakefield.
